Role Overview
Initio Sphere is seeking qualified finance professionals to join as Certified Fund Analytics Associates.
This is not a traditional employment role. Analysts operate as independent contractors, activated through our certification and verification process.
Once approved, Fund Analytics Associates:
Are promoted within the Initio Sphere platform
Gain access to real fund-level deal flow and analytical work
Support fund managers, investors, and operators in portfolio monitoring and transaction analysis
Build a verified fund analytics track record and Analyst Rating Score
Certification tiers:
Senior Fund Analytics Associate · Lead Fund Analytics Associate · Fund Analytics Associate / Analyst
Analyst Levels & Pay RangesSenior Fund Analytics Associate
Rating Score: 90–100
Pay: $150–200/hour
Typical Background: Ex-investment banking, private equity, venture capital, private credit, or senior consulting professionals with 5+ years of fund-level analytics, portfolio management, or reporting experience
Rating Score: 80–89
Pay: $100–150/hour
Typical Background: Finance professionals with 3–5 years of experience in fund analytics, portfolio monitoring, or financial modeling
Rating Score: 60–79
Pay: $50–100/hour
Typical Background: Entry to mid-level analysts with strong technical, analytical, and reporting skills
What You’ll Do (Approval-Based)
Depending on certification approvals, Fund Analytics Associates may be engaged for:
Fund-Level Financial Analysis & ModelingFund performance monitoring and reporting
3-statement fund financial models
Fund-level DCF, IRR, and MOIC modeling
Sensitivity and scenario analysis for portfolio returns
Benchmarking against comparable funds or industry metrics
Tracking KPIs and portfolio performance metrics
Quality of Earnings (QoE) analysis support
Commercial, operational, and risk diligence for fund holdings
Investment memo, fund reporting, and investor communication support
Analysts may only perform work in categories they are explicitly approved for. Approvals are earned through assessment and performance—not tenure.

Complete the Fund Analytics Associate Certification Assessment or approved training
Receive category-specific approvals (Fund Modeling, Valuation, Due Diligence, Reporting)
Get verified on the platform
Begin earning immediately through hourly projects and live fund or portfolio work
No cold applying. No unpaid “experience.” Verified analysts are actively promoted to fund managers and investors within the Initio Sphere ecosystem.
Certification & Eligibility
To qualify, you must meet at least one of the following:
Score ≥70% in at least one category of the Analyst Certification Assessment
Complete Initio Sphere Financial Training
Hold an active professional credential (CFA, CPA, Series 7, 63, 79, or equivalent)
Analyst Rating Score
Each Fund Analytics Associate receives a 0–100 Analyst Rating Score, which determines:
Platform visibility to fund managers and institutional investors
Approved work categories
Recommended hourly rates
Compensation & Deal Terms
Analysts are independent contractors, not employees
Hourly rates depend on Rating Score and approval level
Analysts may earn up to 10% of the first $100,000 in transaction fees
Maximum deal-based earning: $2,500 per transaction
Payments issued only after successful deal completion and fee collection
Initio Sphere reserves the right to revoke approvals for quality or compliance issues
