Job Description

The new Johnny Rockets located inside the Holiday Inn Washington, DC-Central/White House is looking for an energetic and creative Restaurant Manager!

You Are:

  • A recent experienced Restuarant Manager with 2+ years of restaurant/entertainment capacity.
  • Able to communicate to the Employees and Guests in a way that inspires!
  • Have never met a Goal you can't beat!
  • Valid license for liquor or ability to obtain one.
  • Cultivates a strategic team environment that provides exceptional guest service while directing a specific area of the management team and ensuring all staff members perform at a consistently high level.
  • Can lead and influence a diverse team through effective motivation, leveraging individual strengths to ensure guest satisfaction and maximum productivity.
  • Ability to analyze financial reports and develops action plans to grow revenue and control expenses in order to meet or exceed annual budgets for all departments.
  • Expert-level strategy operations that is aligned with the brand’s business strategy and leads its execution.
  • Can identify the developmental needs of others and coaches, mentors, or otherwise helps others to improve their knowledge or skills.
  • Will focus on maintaining profit margins without compromising guest or talent satisfaction.
  • Well organized, detail-oriented and able to work independently.
  • Display initiative, perseverance and analytical skills.
  • Team player, professional and lead with integrity
  • Ability to read, write and speak English, with excellent grammar and communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Engaged, authentic, and prepared to positively impact performance for "best in class" service!


The Restaurant Manager is responsible for ensuring that guests are provided a memorable dining experience. The Restaurant Manager works closely with other Food and Beverage supervisors to ensure operations, food preparation, service, and other back-of-house and front-of-house needs are run efficiently and meet both financial and quality objectives.

  • Utilize prior experience, skills, and expertise to meet role, responsibilities and tasks
  • Experience with P&L responsibilities at all levels
  • Action plan to successfully elevate members of the Management Team and Staff
  • Ensure Customer Service: to Sell, to Service, to Satisfy, and to see the Guest again
  • Sales and Profit-Driven Focus that meets Financial Goals
  • Utilize expertise to create Sales Opportunities within their Four Walls
  • Effective Communication with Management, Co-Workers, Subordinates, Customers, and all company departments
  • Maintain high levels of cleanliness and organization within the location
  • Proactive in problem-solving, utilizing expertise to create effective action plans to find areas of opportunities and resolve issues within the location
  • Responsible for the Health and Safety of your entire Team and Customers
  • Provide and Promote Teamwork
  • Two years as a successful Restaurant General Manager in a Full-Service Restaurant using POS platforms
  • Knowledge of successful recruiting, retention, and interviewing and selection practices
  • Proficient in MS Office (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Exceptional interpersonal and team-building skills
