About the job RN Cardiac Surgery Intensive Care Unit
We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join a Cardiac Surgery Intensive Care Unit. This role is ideal for nurses with a strong acute care background who are interested in working in a fast-paced, highly collaborative ICU environment.
Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care for post-cardiac surgery ICU patients
  • Perform frequent assessments and close monitoring
  • Advocate for patients and families while maintaining privacy and confidentiality
  • Educate patients and families on medications and treatment plans
  • Work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary care team
  • Demonstrate autonomy in clinical decision-making
Requirements
  • 1+ year of Acute Care RN experience (ICU experience not required)
  • Active RN license in Florida or Compact State
  • ADN required | BSN preferred
  • BLS required
  • ACLS within 6 months of hire
  • NIHSS certification within 30 days
  • CCRN preferred (required within 2 years)
Compensation & Differentials
  • Hourly rate: $27.72 - $39.60 (based on experience)
  • Specialty differential: +$2.50/hr
  • Night shift differential: +$3/hr
  • Weekend differential: +$2/hr
  • Sign-on bonus: Up to $15,000 for night shift only (case by case)
