Responsibilities
- Inspect all material upon arrival at the job site to ensure accuracy
- Inspect construction work to ensure compliance with project specifications and building standards
- Review plans to identify potential issues
- Document inspections and report any issues
- Determine the quality of materials being used throughout the project
Qualifications
- A B.S. Degree in engineering or construction management is preferred
- A minimum of four (4) years of experience as a Construction Inspector, including inspection of site/civil, is required.
- OSHA 30 hr.
- Proficiency with submittal systems
- Construction scheduling knowledge to support theproject team
- Knowledge of construction materials, methods, and procedures; Uniform Code and NYC Supplement is preferred
- Experience maintaining field and office records and performing quantity calculations
- Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications
- Collaborate with multiple team members
