Responsibilities

  • Inspect all material upon arrival at the job site to ensure accuracy
  • Inspect construction work to ensure compliance with project specifications and building standards
  • Review plans to identify potential issues
  • Document inspections and report any issues
  • Determine the quality of materials being used throughout the project

Qualifications

  • A B.S. Degree in engineering or construction management is preferred
  • A minimum of four (4) years of experience as a Construction Inspector, including inspection of site/civil, is required.
  • OSHA 30 hr.
  • Proficiency with submittal systems
  • Construction scheduling knowledge to support theproject team
  • Knowledge of construction materials, methods, and procedures; Uniform Code and NYC Supplement is preferred
  • Experience maintaining field and office records and performing quantity calculations
  • Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications
  • Collaborate with multiple team members
