Pay is 17.00 hourly Purpose of Position:Responsible for food prep, and preparing breakfasts, lunches and dinners.Essential Job Functions:Responsible for the preparations of food items in the fryer section and the steam table.Must be able to follow Caf recipes and know proper plate presentation; restock as needed throughout the shiftKeep work area clean and sanitized at all timesPrepare food items according to Foster Farms specificationMonitor and ensure highest level of food safety Opening and/or closing, as well as side duties as neededKeep work station cleanAdditional Functions:Other duties as requiredRequirements:Must have one-two years of cooking in a commercial kitchen, with breakfast, lunch and dinner experienceHigh School Graduate or equivalent and Serve Safe certificate Previous training and job knowledge of each station on acook s lineincluding: fryer, broiler, grill, salad/sandwich, and prep cooking stations.Must be able to lift 30-40 pounds occasionallyCatering and/or Banquet experience preferredMust be team player and show pride in workmanshipMust comply with the Occupational Health and Safety ActExcellent interpersonal skillsMust be dependable and organized and be flexible in work hours
