Position Summary:

We are seeking a Meal Prep Cook to join our kitchen team located in Tukwila. The Meal Prep Cook is responsible for preparing high-quality meals according to standardized recipes, ensuring ingredients are fresh, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. This role includes cooking, portioning, and packaging meals for distribution. The Meal Prep Cook collaborates with the kitchen team to ensure all meals meet company standards for taste, presentation, and dietary compliance. Meal prep is done on Fridays, cooking the food on Saturdays, and delivering the meals on Sundays. We prepare, cook and deliver about 130 meals per week. May be asked to support dinning events/catering operations on occasion.


Knowledge & Skills:


  • Proven experience as a cook in a high volume kitchen.
  • Knowledge of cooking techniques, dietary restrictions, and food safety regulations.
  • Ability to follow recipes accurately and adjust for portion sizes or dietary needs.

Education & Experience:


  • 1-2 years of cooking experience in a high volume professional kitchen.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Driver's license and personal vehicle required.

Professional Certifications (Optional but Advantageous):

  • Food Safety and Sanitation Certification.
  • Culinary certification.

Equipment / Tools Utilized:


  • Commercial kitchen equipment, including ovens, grills, fryers, and mixers.
  • Knives and other culinary tools.
  • Inventory tracking tools, labeling devices, and packaging supplies.

Pay Range: $22-$24 hour depending on experience

Part-time 18-24 hours per week to start with the potential for adjustments based on business needs and performance.

Work Days are Friday, Saturday and Sundays

Hourly non-exempt

Medical, Dental, Vision Insurance (after 60 days of employment if working at least 20 hours a week)
