Location: Aug Prep North Campus
Schedule: Full Time - Year Round
Reports To: Facility Maintenance Manager

In This Role, You Will :
  • Work collaboratively and supportively with colleagues, supervisors, students, parents/guardians, and community members, maintaining positive, solution-oriented relationships that foster a strong, inclusive environment for optimal learning.
  • Continuously seek professional growth through building and department meetings/professional development, formal coursework, workshops, and seminars/in-services.
  • Serve with a flexible, open heart that recognizes no duty is outside the scope of your role--we are a team that is stronger together in service of our students.
  • Perform maintenance and repairs of the facility and its associated system and equipment.
  • Demonstrate skills and knowledge in problem solving through general and preventative maintenance.
  • Demonstrate skills and knowledge in various skills related to projects and maintenance (Drywall/Painting, Plumbing, Electrical, HVAC, etc.).

What We're Looking For:
  • A GED or HS Diploma and a valid driver's license.
  • At least 2 years of related experience. Licenses and certifications not required.
  • Strong working knowledge of building maintenance.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, while still keeping the bigger picture in mind.
  • Excellent problem solving and collaboration skills.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Effective skills in working with hand and power tools.
  • Efficient and organized in prioritizing tasks.
  • Active participation in a Christian church.
  • A belief in the ability of every child and a commitment to ensure excellence for each student.
  • Team player committed to the St. Augustine Preparatory mission and model.
