SECURITY GUARD

Job Summary.

• Guards and monitors premises to prevent theft, violence, and rule infractions.

General Duties.

• Monitors entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to guard against theft and maintain security of premises
• Report irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences
• Identifies rowdy patrons and ejects them from the establishment
• Operates detecting devices to screen individuals and prevent passage of prohibited articles in
• Warns persons of rule infractions or violations, and apprehends or evicts violators from premises, using force when necessary.
• Ensure Safe and Violence-free work environment
• Responsible for cleaning duties before/after shift

Job Qualifications.

• Experience: 1-2 years of related experience
• Licenses/Certifications: Security guard license from state (preferable)

Skills.

• Excellent observation skills
• Ability to exercise good judgment
• Ability to remain calm and enforce rules and policy
