Position Summary

Ethic Tech, LLC is seeking a SharePoint Administrator to support the Administration and Resource Management Division (ARI) within Headquarters, Marine Corps (HQMC).  The SharePoint Administrator will provide systems administration, maintenance, and support for current and future versions of SharePoint 2013 or higher, and MS Office SharePoint Server. 

Essential Functions

  • Manage and maintain vulnerability remediation for servers in line with cybersecurity requirements and reporting under the Risk Management Framework to maintain an ATO.
  • Configure, Troubleshoot, and Maintain Search Functionality
  • Coordinate and Collaborate with Network Infrastructure Team
  • Design and implement medium to large SharePoint intranet/extranet farm topologies
  • Assist in solving technical and performance problems within the portal infrastructure
  • Plan and implement Service Packs and Cumulative Updates of SharePoint Foundation and SharePoint Server
  • Create and maintain documentation for SIPR SharePoint infrastructure, deployment, and service specifications
  • Collaborate with the Infrastructure and DBA groups on backup/recovery operations and disaster recovery testing related to SIPR SharePoint implementation monthly.
  • Manage service applications, create web applications, configure Alternate Access Mapping (AAM), and manage farm features and solutions.

 Requirements

  • High School or equivalent diploma. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Systems preferred.
  • Five (5) years of experience in SharePoint administration and maintenance.
  • CompTIA Security+ CE

Desired Qualifications / Certifications

  • Microsoft 365 Certified Modern Desktop Administrator Associate
  • Microsoft Certified Enterprise Administrator Expert.  

Clearance Qualifications

  • Must have a DoD Secret Security Clearance
