Job description

Thank you for your interest in substitute teaching in the Catholic Diocese of Wichita. 
In addition to complteing the application, please upload a copy of your Emergency Substitute Licesne or Kansas state teaching license.  Also, a current TB test (within the last year) is required.
Finally, substitute teachers are required to complete VIRTUS training.  VIRTUS is our diocesan effort to train employees to protect children from abuse.  Registration is available at www.virtus.org . 
Once your application is on file, your name will be forwarded to the principals of the schools. You will be contacted by the schools, not by the Catholic School Office. Each school is operated by the parish: therefore you will be paid by that parish. Questions about the amount of pay and when payroll is issued may vary and should be directed to each school.
