The Position: Prep Cook

• Assist in the preparation of dishes by chopping vegetables, makings salads, and putting together entrees
• Store food in designated areas to prevent spoilage.
• Perform kitchen maintenance tasks
• Measure ingredients and prepare them to Chef's specifications.
• Wash and peel ingredients
• Cut and portion different types of food from the menu and follow the recipe carefully.
• Make stock soups to be used during the cook process.
• Keep track of ingredients to ensure there is always enough for the day/week.
• Make sure the food temperature is appropriate.

• You have previous cooking experience.
