Job Summary and Responsibilities
CommonSpirit Memorial Medical Group is offering an outstanding opportunity for a Urology Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant to join an established outpatient team in Chattanooga, TN. Position Responsibilities
- Obtain medical histories when necessary
- Perform physical exams (within established protocol).
- Diagnose, treat and monitor chronic diseases (within protocol guidelines)
- Order diagnostic tests
- Prescribe or recommend medications for treatment (within protocol guidelines)
- Assist providers with clinic procedures and consults as necessary
- Maintain patient's privacy and confidentiality
- Make follow-up calls to check patient progress
- Consult with doctor regarding patient symptoms to assure proper diagnosis and plan of treatment

- Master's degree in nursing or Graduate of a Physician Assistant training Program

- Certified Nurse Practitioner, Certificate of fitness through American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, Licensed as an RN in the state of TN, and Licensed as a CRNP in state of TN, required, or State PA License required
- AHA BLS required
