Behavioral Health Skills Trainer
Location: Eugene, Oregon (Community-based)
Employment Type: Full-time (Daytime, Evenings)
Salary: Starting at $19.23/hour

About the Role
Clarvida is seeking a Skills Trainer to provide direct, community-based skills training to youth with identified behavioral and/or mental health concerns who are placed in DHS resource homes. In this role, you will work as part of a youth’s Service Team, developing and implementing individualized Service Plans that focus on skill-building, stabilization, and placement success.
Services are delivered during times that are most meaningful for youth and families, which may include evenings, early mornings, and occasional weekends. This is a highly relational role that requires flexibility, consistency, and a strengths-based approach to supporting youth development.
Responsibilities
● Provide direct skills training to youth in community settings
 ● Develop and implement individualized Service Plans focused on placement stabilization
 ● Work collaboratively as part of each youth’s Service Team
 ● Support youth with behavioral regulation, daily living skills, and social development
 ● Deliver services during times that best meet youth and family needs
 ● Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant documentation
 ● Communicate progress, challenges, and updates with team members and supervisors
Requirements
● High School Diploma or GED
 ● Minimum of one (1) year of relevant experience (additional education may substitute for experience)
 ● Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record and active auto insurance
 ● Ability to obtain and maintain CPR/First Aid certification (provided by agency)
 ● Ability to obtain and maintain Non-Violent Crisis Intervention (NCI) certification (provided by agency)
 ● Ability to obtain and maintain Tier 1 Collaborative Problem Solving certification (provided by agency)
 ● Ability to pass fingerprinting and state/federal background checks
