In this role, you will:
Transition Planning & Execution:
  • Lead the transition from integration-focused delivery to long-term steady-state operations.
  • Develop and execute transition plans that define timelines, milestones, and ownership across teams.
  • Define and implement support processes, escalation paths, and service level agreements (SLAs) for BAU operations.
  • Coordinate readiness reviews to ensure operations teams are fully prepared for ownership.

Knowledge Transfer & Documentation:
  • Ensure comprehensive documentation of systems, workflows, support models, and dependencies.
  • Drive structured knowledge transfer sessions between integration, ITSM, and operational teams.
  • Validate that documentation meets IT governance and audit standards before transition completion.

Governance & Performance Monitoring
  • Establish governance frameworks to monitor post-transition performance, service quality, and compliance.
  • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics to measure stability and continuous improvement.
  • Facilitate regular transition review meetings with stakeholders to ensure alignment and accountability.

Who You Are:
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, or related field (Master's preferred).
  • 7+ years of experience in IT Project Management, preferably in post-merger integration or transition management.
  • Strong understanding of ITIL/IT Service Management principles.
  • Proven success leading cross-functional teams through transition or stabilization phases.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and organizational skills. PMP or ITIL certification strongly preferred.
  • Must be able to be on-site in downtown Chicago for a few days each month
