Dietary Aide Job Description & Qualifications

The Dietary Aides at Brandermill Woods assist in the preparation and serving of meals and snacks to residents. They maintain neat and orderly work areas and assist in the cleaning and sanitizing the equipment, floors, dishes and utensils. It's easy to develop close, personal connections with the residents and the friendly staff at Brandermill Woods.

SCHEDULE:

• Full-time
• 6:00 am to 2:30 pm or 11 am to 7:00 pm

DIETARY AIDE REQUIREMENTS:

The Dietary Aide must be able to perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodations, and meet the following qualifications:

• 1 year experience in Food Service
• Must be detail-oriented and responsible
• Must possess and exhibit a strong positive attitude toward customer service and have a genuine interest in geriatric care and uphold the philosophy of the community.
• Must be able to stand and walk short and long distances for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to lift and/or carry objects in excess of 25 pounds.
