Photography Staff

Photography Staff will take pictures of participants and staff throughout the SBR site
including crew photos, candid shots, action shots. They will also be asked to be available for
weekend events and other events that might be scheduled.

Responsibilities:

• Provide cheerful and helpful service to all Summit Bechtel Reserve participants and staff
• Follow the policies and procedures outlined in the Summit Bechtel Reserve Staff
  Handbook and in staff training
• Take unit photos on arrival day, organize and file photos for records, and distribute these
  photos back to the unit leaders through Flicker
• Take photographs, and occasionally video, around camp of participants, facilities,
  equipment, and landscapes for use in promotional materials, social media, and
  informational documentation
• Take photos during any events that are held
• Must have mastery of proper file management
• Inventory, manage, and care for any equipment issued by the Summit Bechtel Reserve
• Participate and exhibit Scout Spirit at camp-wide programs and daily activities
• Any other duties as assigned by full-time staff and/or direct supervisor

Qualifications & Training:

• Be or become a registered member of the Boy Scouts of America
• 18 Years old or older
• Must have a portfolio
• Good communication and instructional skills
• Significant experience with photography and photo editing
• Experience with video and video editing preferred
• Experience in the Adobe Suite preferred
• Some experience with marketing/social media preferred
• Attention to detail
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Outlook software
• Problem-solving skills

Physical Requirements:

• Must meet the Summit Bechtel Reserve's high adventure height/weight requirements as
  laid out in the Summit BSA Health & Medical Record
• Must be able to walk/hike around site, bend, stretch, and lift up to 50lbs

Uniform:

BSA Official Field Uniform on participant arrival days and during most camp-wide events; Summit staff uniform all other times.
