Job Title: Quality Engineer III
Job ID: 19187-1
Location: Valencia, CA (Onsite; temporary work in San Diego 4-5 days/week)
Duration: 12 Months
Pay Range: $60-63/hr on W2
Seeking a Quality Engineer III with an Electrical Engineering background and experience in electro-mechanical device failure analysis, especially electronics/RF systems within medical devices.
Key responsibilities include:
  • Performing and reviewing hardware failure analysis investigations
  • Creating test methods, work instructions (WIs), and SOPs
  • Training lab technicians on root cause analysis and testing
  • Supporting returned product investigations and complaint analysis
  • Collaborating with R&D, Manufacturing, Supplier Quality, and Post Market teams
  • Monitoring product performance and investigating non-conformance issues
  • Conducting RF/electronics troubleshooting and data analysis
Must Have Skills:
  • Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering
  • 4+ years of relevant QE/failure analysis experience
  • Electro-mechanical and electronics/RF failure analysis experience
  • Ability to create/validate test methods and work instructions
  • Knowledge of RF communication concepts
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills
  • Medical device industry experience preferred
