Location: Lincolnshire, Illinois Duration: 18 Months

Business Analyst- SAP Demand to Supply

As an IT Business Analyst dedicated to the Demand to Supply work stream in our SAP implementation project, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful integration and optimization of our supply chain processes within the SAP system. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements, analyze existing processes, and assist in the design of efficient solutions aligned with best practices in SAP.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand demand planning, manufacturing management, inventory management, and order fulfillment process requirements and assist the SAP lead with translating them into SAP solutions.
  • Provide guidance and recommendations on configuring SAP modules such as Materials Management (MM), Production Planning (PP), Sales and Distribution (SD), and Warehouse Management (WM) to support business needs. Conduct gap analysis to identify areas where standard SAP functionalities may require enhancements.
  • Provide guidance on SAP finance module functionality, data structures, and integration points with other SAP modules.
  • Assist in the development and execution of comprehensive test plans, including integration testing, and user acceptance testing, to ensure the quality and accuracy of SAP demand to supply solutions.
  • Support end-users during the transition phase by providing training, troubleshooting, and resolving issues related to SAP demand to supply functionalities.
  • Collaborate with the project management team to ensure adherence to project timelines, milestones, and deliverables.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience working on SAP implementation projects, with a focus on finance modules.
  • In-depth knowledge of SAP modules such as MM, PP, SD, and WM, including configuration, integration, and customization capabilities.
  • Strong understanding of supply chain management principles and processes and aiding in the design and optimization of end-to-end supply chain solutions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to analyze complex problems, propose innovative solutions, and drive projects to successful completion.
  • SAP certification in relevant demand to supply modules is a plus.
