Warehouse Operator in Morton Grove

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Warehouse Operator to join our dynamic team in Morton Grove. As a pivotal member of our logistics and supply chain operation, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our warehouse operates smoothly and efficiently. Responsibilities:
  • Receive, inspect, and store incoming materials and products in the warehouse.
  • Prepare and fulfill outgoing orders by picking, packing, and labeling items accurately.
  • Operate warehouse machinery and equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, safely and efficiently.
  • Manage inventory levels by conducting regular stock counts and maintaining accurate records.
  • Assist in the organization and arrangement of warehouse space to optimize workflow.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the warehouse to ensure safety and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals.
  • Report any discrepancies or issues with inventory to the management team promptly.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and standards while performing warehouse duties.
  • Participate in training sessions and meetings to improve skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; further education in logistics or supply chain management is a plus.
  • Previous experience as a warehouse operator or in a relevant role is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in using warehouse management systems and basic computer software.
