Job Title: Electrical Engineer

Job Description

An exciting opportunity awaits an experienced Professional Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic design team. The projects span across data centers, industrial buildings, offices, and other high-profile construction ventures. This role requires high collaboration with internal teams, clients, vendors, and various external disciplines. Occasional travel to job sites for site observations and client meetings may be required.

Responsibilities

  • Design electrical systems and perform design calculations.
  • Review, sign, and seal project documents.
  • Review submittals, RFIs, and change orders, and prepare record drawings.
  • Conduct site visits, inspections, and participate in commissioning work.
  • Write and edit specifications for electrical equipment, select equipment, electrical systems, and devices.
  • Ensure projects are completed accurately, within deadlines, and on budget.

Essential Skills

  • 4 - 6 years of experience as an Electrical Engineer.
  • EIT certification is required; PE is preferred.
  • Minimum of 1 year of mission-critical project experience, such as in advanced manufacturing, data centers, semiconductor, or healthcare.
  • Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD.
  • B.S. in Electrical Engineering.
  • 2+ years of experience in designing power systems.
  • Advanced knowledge of equipment power requirements, including large-scale standby and emergency power systems.
  • 2+ years of experience performing electrical analysis.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

* LEED AP BD+C certification is a plus.* Ability to perform arc flash studies.

Work Environment

Employees may work 100% remotely unless local to Phoenix, AZ, or Austin, TX, where a hybrid work schedule is offered. The office in AZ is brand new, located on Tempe Town Lake, and features a hotel-like feel. Candidates must be located in AL, AR, AZ, FL, GA, IN, MI, MO, NV, OK, SC, TX, WA, WV, or UT. Candidates from NY, CA, CO, NJ, and WY will not be considered unless willing to relocate. The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $130000.00/yr.
