Job description

How you'll spend your day:
  • Collaborating with the team in a greenfield effort to develop an e-commerce platform from the ground up
  • Visioning, prototyping, sandboxing and iterating on components and design patterns until we get it right
  • Participating in the full software development life cycle, including coding, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing and operations – you'll own the entire process
  • Providing vision and leadership for the team so that all the pieces fit nicely together
What we are looking for:
  • BS in Computer Science or Engineering
  • At least 7 years of experience working on enterprise-grade distribution services – self-service web app and e-commerce platform involvement useful but not required
  • Advanced competency in, at least, one language such as Java, JavaScript, Rails, or PHP
  • A skill kit contains a vast array of tools – next.js, Kubernetes, GitHub, circle. ci, cloud formation, AWS to name a few – public cloud experience a must
  • An articulate communicator – you are able to translate your ideas into understandable presentations and documentation
  • Passion for building high performing applications that you are proud to put your name on
  • Commitment to producing detailed documentation
  • Willingness to learn new technologies
