We are seeking a radiology technician to administer patient health screenings using current technologies. As a radiology technician, you will respond to unit requests for patient imaging and communicate results to the on-duty physician. You must have strong written and oral communication skills to work with various patients and staff members.

• Maintain working knowledge of current radiology practices
• Report equipment failures in a timely manner
• Educate patients on imaging preparations prior to procedures
• Review patient chart and doctor's notes prior to performing exams
• Address and report safety concerns in a timely manner
• Provide patients with protective wear to reduce radiation exposure
• Calibrate equipment to ensure accurate results
• Assist with interpreting radiograph results
• Maintain patient records
• Log and organize imaging results
• Prepare and submit bi-monthly progress reports

• High school diploma required
• Associate degree or certificate from an accredited institution required
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a healthcare environment
• Licensure must be obtained within 6 months of employment
• Budget management experience required
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Ability to operate equipment without assistance
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule (nights, weekends, and holidays as needed)
