Program Coordinator Job Summary

Our organization is currently seeking a Program Coordinator to help us enrich the lives of individuals through educational and social programs. As part of this role, you assist with budget allocation and identify additional funding sources. You also assist with outreach strategies to ensure a high level of program participation and support. Applicants should have a bachelor's degree and experience in recreational activities administration, in addition to familiarity with the demographic we support.

Program Coordinator Duties and Responsibilities

  • Oversee the current program schedule
  • Draft proposals for new programs that you feel may benefit the community we serve
  • Hire, supervise, and schedule staff
  • Prepare budgets and identify potential funding sources
  • Assist with community outreach strategies
  • Prepare regular reports regarding program participation and results

Program Coordinator Requirements and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in human services or a related field preferred
  • Experience in recreational activities administration (2+ years preferred)
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
  • Written and oral communication skills
  • Organizational skills
  • Valid driver's license
