Printer Operator Job Summary
We are seeking a Printer Operator to help us create printed materials for our customers. We work with a wide variety of products, from vinyl banners to clothing, so you should be comfortable setting up our large format inkjet printer to print on these vastly different materials. You will set up the printer, load the materials, and observe the printer as it runs to ensure there are no mistakes. You will also inspect each run for accuracy and quality. Our ideal applicant has an associate degree in graphic design and experience working with large commercial printers. You should also be skilled with the entire Adobe Creative Suite.
Printer Operator Duties and Responsibilities
- Accept orders and designs from clients
- Format the design for the specific product
- Set up the printer and load the materials
- Run the printer, inspecting products along the way for accuracy
- Perform general maintenance and repairs on the printers
Printer Operator Requirements and Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED certificate
- Associate degree in graphic design (preferred)
- Experience with commercial printers
- Sharp eye for detail
- Excellent customer service skills
