Marketing Communications Assistant Job Summary

Our firm is looking for a Marketing Communications Assistant to join our media relations team. This is primarily a support role, but you also have the opportunity to contribute to the overall marketing strategy on behalf of individual clients. Your main tasks are to assist with any administrative tasks that may prevent our team from reaching deadlines or promotional goals. You also help produce marketing collateral and develop content to promote our clients on social platforms. This position is open to applicants with a degree or who are currently pursuing a degree in marketing or communications. A background in hospitality is also a plus, as you may be asked to coordinate events and promotions, communicating our expectations with outside vendors.

  • Assist with the development and implementation of brand marketing strategy

  • Post social media content on various platforms

Marketing Communications Assistant Requirements and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field
  • Administrative experience a plus
  • Experience with Adobe InDesign and Photoshop
  • Experience with Google Calendar as well as Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Familiarity with Google Analytics
  • Analytical and multitasking skills
