Mail Clerk Job Summary

Our company is seeking a Mail Clerk to join our mailroom staff. In this position, your first priority is shipping and receiving mail. When mail comes in, you are responsible for scanning, labeling, and sorting it. You then use a hand cart to deliver mail throughout the building. When we receive larger shipments, you may be responsible for docking a truck and using a pallet jack to unload it. We receive a high volume of shipments, so you need to be skilled with data entry.
