Lease Operator Job Summary
We are seeking a Lease Operator to monitor how much oil we are pumping out of our oil wells. In this role, you must follow the SCADA system to collect data and ensure that we are in compliance with all relevant regulations. You will also be responsible for performing regular maintenance on the valves, pumping, and compression equipment. Because you must drive between facilities, we prefer candidates with experience in trucking, preferably as a tanker truck driver within the oil and gas industry.
Lease Operator Duties and Responsibilities
- Travel to various oil pumps within the region
- Track the amount of oil pumped through each well
- Conduct routine maintenance on the equipment
- Ensure we are in compliance with industry regulations
Lease Operator Requirements and Qualifications
- A high school diploma or GED certificate
- Oil and gas experience
- Trucking experience
- Basic mechanical skills
- Attention to detail
