Our company is seeking a skilled Incident Manager to oversee the security of our information technology systems. We work with an extensive database of sensitive information, so it’s crucial that our Incident Manager has several years of information technology service management (ITSM) experience. You will analyze our current policies and develop new security procedures. You will also work with our employees to help them make the changes, so change management skills are essential. You must have a bachelor’s degree in IT. Previous experience in tech support or help desk support role is a plus.

  • Assess the security of our current system, looking for flaws in our policies
  • Develop and implement improved policies
  • Support our staff as they transition to the new policies
  • Install hardware and software that can better protect our data
  • Troubleshoot general technical issues

Incident Manager Requirements and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in information technology
  • ITSM experience, preferably in a managerial role
  • Strong communication skills for relaying technical information to others
  • Experience with databases and related programming languages, such as SQL
  • Remediation assessment and change management experience
