GIS Technician Job Summary
We are looking for a trained GIS Technician to work with our engineers on large-scale construction projects. You will use GIS tools to gather and convert data for GIS mapping, research and analyze data records, plot maps for projects, and update our database to ensure our engineers have the most current mapping information available. Our ideal candidate has at least two years of experience working with GIS and is proficient in ArcView, ArcInfo, ArcMap, and other similar products. This position requires some travel.

GIS Technician Requirements and Qualifications
- GIS certificate; bachelor's degree in GIS, civil engineering, or a related field preferred
- 2+ years of experience working with GIS
- Proficient with ArcView, Arc Info, ArcMap and other ESRI products
- Excellent organization and communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
