Calibration Technician Job Summary

Our company is looking for a Calibration Technician to join our team. In this position, you will be responsible for ensuring that all of our instruments, such as a micrometer, are accurate and well-maintained. You will inspect all equipment thoroughly before they are put into rotation for use. Our ideal candidate has a relevant associate degree, but we are willing to work with any candidate that experience working with electricity, soldering, or other detailed craft that involves hand tools. Those with military experience are encouraged to apply.

Calibration Technician Duties and Responsibilities

  • Calibrate all tools needed on the job site
  • Use an oscilloscope to test electric devices
  • Troubleshoot issues that arise during inspections
  • Report findings to your supervisor
  • Conduct routine inspections of all tools

Calibration Technician Requirements and Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED certificate; associate degree preferred
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Experience working with ISO standards
  • Familiarity with the basics of metrology
