Aircraft Mechanic Job Summary

We are searching for an Aircraft Mechanic to help with essential aircraft maintenance and repair for our fleet. In this position, you will run regular diagnostic tests to detect problems before they become a safety issue. You will also conduct routine maintenance to prevent these problems from occurring in the future. At a minimum, you must have a Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) certificate from a technical program, some airplane experience, and experience working with hydraulics.

Aircraft Mechanic Duties and Responsibilities

  • Conduct routine maintenance on aircraft
  • Respond to maintenance or repair requests
  • Run diagnostic tests to identify malfunctions
  • Order, assemble, and replace malfunctioning parts
  • Ensure every aircraft is ready and safe for flight

Aircraft Mechanic Requirements and Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED certificate
  • FAA certification from a technical school
  • Airplane repair and maintenance experience
  • Strong analytical problem-solving skills
