Solar Consultant

Momentum Solar, founded in 2009, is one of the fastest-growing companies in renewable energy. Recognized as Solar Power World's #1 Residential Installer and named one of Inc. Magazine's Best Places to Work, we are seeking driven, people-focused professionals to join our team as Solar Consultants.

No prior solar or sales experience required. We provide structured, high-level training and ongoing coaching to develop top-performing consultants what we're looking for is the right skills, mindset, and work ethic.

About the Role

Solar Consultants meet with homeowners at pre-scheduled, confirmed appointments and guide them through the process of understanding and purchasing solar. There is no door knocking. No cold calling. No prospecting. Every appointment is set, confirmed, and scheduled for you.

We invest around $1,000 per appointment!! Don't waste time knocking doors, we put you in front of qualified homeowners that's our commitment to your success, at no cost to you. Consultants attend 810 appointments per week, supported by our industry-leading 70% sit rate.

  • Attend pre-set, confirmed appointments with homeowners
  • Clearly explain solar options, pricing, and benefits
  • Answer questions and address concerns with confidence and honesty
  • Guide homeowners through a structured decision-making process
  • Participate in ongoing training, coaching, and team development

Who Succeeds in This Role

We hire for three things: interpersonal skills, coachability, and self-accountability. Sales experience is not a requirement the top 40% of earners did not come from a sales background.
