Head Of Intelligence / Investigative Intelligence Lead

Location: New York City

EverPresent Talent is partnering with an innovative, fast-growing technology company focused on investigative intelligence, risk analysis, network analysis, and operational decision systems. We are seeking a hands-on intelligence professional to help lead and scale a modern intelligence function operating at the intersection of investigations, fraud/risk analysis, OSINT, and data-driven operational workflows. This role is ideal for candidates with backgrounds in military intelligence, counterintelligence, threat intelligence, fraud intelligence, investigative operations, targeting analysis, or operational risk environments who enjoy solving complex investigative problems involving fragmented datasets, hidden relationships, suspicious activity, and behavioral analysis. The ideal candidate is highly collaborative, operationally minded, and comfortable working in fast-paced environments alongside intelligence analysts, data scientists, engineering teams, and leadership stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct and support complex investigative and intelligence analysis efforts across large fragmented datasets
  • Identify suspicious activity, hidden relationships, behavioral anomalies, and operational risk indicators
  • Perform network analysis, relationship mapping, identity resolution, and pattern-of-life analysis
  • Translate intelligence findings into actionable operational insights for leadership and stakeholders
  • Help build scalable investigative workflows and operational intelligence processes
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with product, engineering, operations, and analytics teams
  • Support intelligence modernization efforts leveraging investigative tooling, analytics, and automation

Ideal Backgrounds:

  • Military Intelligence / Counterintelligence
  • Threat Intelligence / Fraud Intelligence
  • Special Operations Intelligence Support
  • Targeting Analyst / Target Development
  • OSINT / Publicly Available Information (PAI) Investigations
  • Operational Risk / Investigative Operations
  • Intelligence Community or National Security experience

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with investigative or intelligence platforms such as Palantir, i2 Analyst Notebook, ShadowDragon, Penlink, ArcGIS, Tableau, Splunk, JIRA, Python, or SQL
  • Strong investigative reasoning and analytical tradecraft
  • Experience in OSINT, multi-source intelligence fusion, or operational investigations
  • Ability to work collaboratively in fast-moving, ambiguous environments
  • Strong communication and client-facing skills
  • Experience supporting operational decision-making and investigative workflows

Qualifications:

  • Approximately 512 years of relevant experience preferred
  • Bachelor's degree preferred; advanced degrees or military leadership experience are a plus
  • Active security clearance is highly valued but not required
  • Willingness to relocate to or work in the NYC area preferred
