Job description

Senior Operations Intelligence Analyst

TS/SCI Required | MacDill AFB, Tampa, FL | FullTime | Defense Group - Leidos

Position Overview

Leidos is seeking a Senior Operations Intelligence Analyst to support a customer facility at MacDill Air Force Base in Tampa, FL. This role is designated as a Highly Qualified Expert (HQE) and provides fullspectrum operational intelligence analysis, targeting support, sensitive mission planning, and development of intelligence portions of operational Concepts of Operations (CONOPs).

Candidates must bring deep experience in multidiscipline intelligence, including HUMINT targeting, social network analysis, and the use of advanced analytic tools and databases. This position operates within a hightempo, operationsintegrated environment and requires the ability to produce highquality finished intelligence with limited oversight.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operational Targeting - Coordinate and collaborate with requirement originators across Services, Components, DoD organizations, and nationallevel intelligence agencies to target networks, identify key individuals, and assess vulnerabilities for exploitation.
  • MultiSource Analysis - Work directly with Special Operations enterprise partners to research, evaluate, analyze, fuse, and interpret reporting from multiple sources, with emphasis on HUMINT.
  • CONOPs Development - Support the creation and refinement of intelligence portions of operational Concepts of Operations.
  • Sensitive Mission Planning - Provide expertlevel support to mission planning efforts requiring advanced targeting and intelligence integration.
  • Independent Production - Produce highquality written intelligence assessments, briefings, and operational products with minimal oversight.
  • Team Integration - Operate as part of a highly skilled team executing timesensitive, missioncritical tasks.
  • Adaptive Decision Support - Interpret general guidance from program leadership and independently adjust to evolving operational requirements.

Basic Qualifications

  • Education - BA/BS degree and 10 years of relevant experience; additional experience may be substituted for a degree.
  • Intelligence Analysis Experience - Minimum 10 years of analytical experience within DoD or equivalent Government agencies, including 5 years at the operational level.
  • MultiDiscipline Expertise - Strong background in Social Network Analysis, GEOINT, GeoPolitical Analysis, HUMINT, and SIGINT analysis.
  • Special Operations Knowledge - Acute understanding of Special Operations gained through military training or operational experience.
  • Security Clearance - Must possess a current TS/SCI security clearance; applicants will undergo a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
  • Advanced Communication Skills - Demonstrated ability to produce polished written intelligence products and deliver briefings with minimal oversight.
  • Technical Proficiency - Advanced Microsoft Office skills and proficiency with current analytic tools, databases, and intelligence/operational systems.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working directly with Special Operations Forces (SOF) or SOFsupporting intelligence elements.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate in hightempo, ambiguous environments with limited direction.
  • Experience producing seniorlevel intelligence briefings and operational targeting products.
