Missile Intelligence Analyst
Location: Huntsville, AL
Clearance Required: Active TS/SCI with CI Poly Preferred
Employment Type: Full-Time, Onsite
Customer: Missile and Space Intelligence Center (MSIC) Position Overview
We are seeking a Missile Intelligence Analyst to support the Defense Intelligence Agencyโ€™s Missile and Space Intelligence Center (MSIC) at Redstone Arsenal. This role supports all-source intelligence analysis focused on foreign missile systems, integrated air defense systems (IADS), and counter-aerospace threats.
The position primarily supports operational Requests for Information (RFIs), intelligence production, and analytical support to Combatant Commands, MSIC, and the broader Intelligence Community. The ideal candidate is not entry-level and understands how defense intelligence production works across multiple intelligence disciplines and organizations. Responsibilities Conduct all-source intelligence analysis on foreign missile and air defense systems
Produce RFIs, threat assessments, technical briefings, and analytical products
Research and synthesize information from multiple intelligence disciplines and databases
Support operational intelligence requirements from DoD and Intelligence Community customers
Analyze missile system capabilities, deployment, proliferation, and operational status
Coordinate across analytical teams and intelligence production centers to support customer requirements
Maintain situational awareness on foreign threat systems and emerging operational developments
Collaborate with imagery analysts, technical intelligence personnel, modeling and simulation teams, and operational analysts
Support database maintenance, analytical repositories, and knowledge management activities
Required Qualifications Bachelorโ€™s degree and 5+ years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
Experience supporting DoD or Intelligence Community intelligence production environments
Strong understanding of intelligence workflows, RFIs, and multi-discipline analytical support
Familiarity with missile systems, aerospace systems, air defense systems, or foreign weapons analysis
Strong analytical writing, research, and briefing skills
Ability to produce concise, well-sourced analytical responses under time-sensitive conditions
Strong understanding of military operations, defense structure, and joint operational environments
Active TS/SCI clearance required
Active CI Poly strongly preferred
Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting MSIC, DIA, NASIC, MDA, CIA, or Combatant Command intelligence missions
Familiarity with foreign SAM systems and integrated air defense architectures
Experience with intelligence databases and analytical tools such as:
JWICS
TMAP
MYST
COE
SupraNet
MATLAB familiarity or experience supporting modeling and simulation environments
Background in missile intelligence, aerospace engineering, systems engineering, technical intelligence, or defense acquisition
Prior military intelligence or senior enlisted operational experience preferred
Experience supporting proliferation analysis, operational status tracking, or world battle assessments
