Job description

LOCATION: Gunter, AL Software Engineering Services is seeking a Cyberspace Enterprise SME to serve as a senior technical authority responsible for designing, integrating, securing, and optimizing enterprise-level cyberspace operations and infrastructure. This role provides strategic guidance and hands-on expertise across cyber operations, network architecture, cloud environments, and security frameworks to support mission-critical objectives.

Key Responsibilities
• Provide expert-level guidance on cyberspace enterprise architecture, including network, cloud, and hybrid environments • Design, implement, and maintain secure, scalable enterprise IT and cyber infrastructures • Lead efforts in cyber defense, risk management, and compliance with federal cybersecurity standards (e.g., RMF, NIST frameworks) • Advise leadership on emerging cyber threats, vulnerabilities, and mitigation strategies • Support integration of cyber capabilities across enterprise systems and mission platforms • Conduct technical assessments, audits, and vulnerability analyses • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, operations, intelligence, and policy) to ensure alignment with mission requirements • Develop and review technical documentation, policies, and standard operating procedures • Provide mentorship and technical leadership to junior engineers and analysts • Support incident response and continuity of operations planning ________________________________________
Required Qualifications
• IAM certification • Active Top Secret / Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) clearance • 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity, network engineering, or enterprise IT environments • Demonstrated expertise in enterprise architecture, cyber operations, and systems integration • Strong knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks (e.g., NIST SP 800-53, RMF, Zero Trust Architecture) • Proficiency in network protocols, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and security tools ________________________________________
Preferred Qualifications
Someone with experience in Enterprise Networking, long-hall communications, base infrastructure support or especially supporting the AFINC Cyber Weapon
