Job description

Partner Manager

The bridge between rebate programs and contractors.

Sealed is a climate tech company with a mission to stop home energy waste and electrify all homes. We are a unique blend of technologists, policy wonks, and home services experts working to get the boots on the ground as fast and effectively as possible.

We provide software and solutions to contractors, enabling them to install more home weatherization and electrification projects, grow their business, and make homes more comfortable with less energy waste.

Sealed's software, data, and analytics enable market-leading products, including a one-stop shop rebate solution and investment-grade energy savings predictions. Sealed also serves as an aggregator of projects for utility and government rebates, handling all rebate processing and payment on behalf of contractors, enabling contractors to participate in measured savings, Virtual Power Plant (VPP), and other programs with minimal additional costs or friction.

We are a venture-backed, remote-first company based in New York City. Learn more at sealed.com.

What will you do?

As Sealed’s Partner Manager, you will be the driving force behind the success of our contractor partners in weatherization and electrification rebate programs. You will balance sales enablement, account management, and building relationships to ensure our partners maximize their participation in our programs while keeping projects on track. Your primary responsibility is to support our partners and do all in your power to help them drive volume.

Specifically, you will:

  • Own contractor engagement – Build deep relationships with contractors, understanding their needs, and helping them navigate the complexities of rebate programs.

  • Train and enable – Educate contractors on program requirements, best practices, and Sealed’s software through group presentations, one-on-one training, and hands-on guidance.

  • Balance relationships with strategy – Read the room, know when to push for results, when to nurture, and when to adjust course.

  • Monitor and manage performance – Track contractor success metrics, ensuring they are meeting program requirements and staying compliant.

  • Problem-solve creatively – Tackle bottlenecks, compliance issues, and contractor pain points with structured yet flexible solutions.

  • Communicate tough messages effectively – Be comfortable delivering difficult news while maintaining trust and credibility.

  • Stay on top of the details – Keep program data accurate, maintain records, and track performance against quotas and goals.

  • Champion continuous improvement – Provide feedback to internal teams to refine our processes, making it easier for contractors to participate in programs.

You may be a good fit if you:
  • 1-3+ years of experience in sales, account management, or program operations.

  • Experience working with construction professionals, contractors, or home services businesses (ideally in HVAC, weatherization, electrical or plumbing).

  • Have experience training others, both one-on-one and in large group settings.

  • Have experience working toward quotas and targets, with a focus on results.

  • Are comfortable with repetitive tasks and thrive in structured environments.

  • Are a creative problem solver who can think outside the box.

  • Have significant attention to detail—you double-check your work and know your numbers.

  • Have proficiency in CRM (HubSpot, Salesforce, ZoHo etc.)

What success looks like:
  • Contractors trust Sealed and rely on us to help them navigate rebate programs.

  • Program participation increases as contractors are better enabled to take advantage of rebates.

  • Internal teams have clear insights into contractor performance and program compliance.

  • Data is accurate, organized, and actionable—numbers drive decisions.

  • Contractors feel supported and are excited to work with Sealed.

Benefits & Perks:
  • Competitive salary & equity

  • Medical, dental, and vision benefits

  • Flexible, remote-first culture

  • Flexible PTO

  • 401(k)

  • Pre-tax FSA for health/dependent care

Salary Range - $70,000 - $90,000

* This position may require travel up to 50% of the time, including overnight stays, to support project needs, attend meetings, or conduct site visits.
