Job description

Part-Time Customer Service Representative

We are building a team of individuals who are intentional in their actions to positively impact everyone and everything they encounter each day. The Customer Service Specialist position represents the Core Values of the company while serving others with care and excellence. This position will be stationed at the DAV (Disabled American Veterans) headquarters in Erlanger, KY and responsible for providing quality customer service to veterans with their DAV Store orders.

Responsibilities

  • Serving customers by answering their questions and providing assistance with the ordering process.
  • Building Up our customers by warmly greeting them via the phone, over email, or in person.
  • Navigating various computer and work order systems to fully assist customers.
  • Consult our current customers by exploring other opportunities to serve them.
  • Potentially assisting with inventory management and purchasing.

Skills

  • Proven customer support experience or experience as a client service representative
  • Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening
  • Clear and prompt email communication skills
  • Customer orientation and ability to adapt/respond to different types of characters
  • Excellent communication skills
