Job description

Arthrex is a global medical device company and a leader in new product development and medicaleducation in orthopedics.Arthrex is actively seekinga Senior Business Systems Analyst to primarily support the ADP/Workforce Software Time and Attendance system for North America. The Analyst will partner with HR to enhance the time management application by analyzing, designing, configuring, testing, and implementing solutions. The role also provides ongoing technical support to HR and employees. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, combined with strong technical expertise and analytical capabilities, are essential to this position.

Specialized Skills
  • Experience with ADP/Workforce Software time and attendance or equivalent time management software (i.e.Kronos) is required.
  • Knowledge of SQL databases is a plus.
  • Experience in functional and technical support of time and attendance processing for the U.S. workforce populations is required; processing for Canadian and Mexican workforce is preferred.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of time regulations is expected.
  • Knowledge of ADP/Workforce Software scripting language is preferred.
  • Experience with Crystal Reports or a reporting tool equivalent is preferred.
  • Experience with integration of a Time Management system to SAP HCM (ECC EP8) on-prem Payroll is preferred.
  • Previous involvement in the deployment or optimization of an HR time management system is a plus
  • Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation
  • Ability to work comfortably at all levels within the organization up to the senior management level
Education/Experience
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree required
  • 8 + years of relevant work experience required
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Provide all-level and on-call coverage support.
  • Requirements gathering, solution design, documentation, stakeholder engagement, and implementation.
  • Shape business requirements by making recommendations and suggesting alternatives to proposed solutions.
  • Participate in Application Analysis, Configuration, Testing, Management, and Maintenance in an Enterprise environment, including (where applicable):
    • Access administration and user onboarding.
    • Issue resolution, patching, and performance monitoring.
    • Configure and maintain integrations and automation between applications using Application Programming Interfaces (API) and connectors.
    • Reliability, backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity.
    • Monitor system logs for unusual activity and elevate or make recommendations for resolution.
    • Work with IT infrastructure and facilities teams on time clock placement and installation plans.
  • Lead and support system testing activities, including unit, integration, automation, and user acceptance testing.
  • Adhere to the Quality System Procedures and Change Control.
  • Lead and/or participate in delivery of projects.
  • Under management direction, may participate as SME for audits.
  • Responsible for coordinating application needs from back-end platforms through the user interface.
  • Ensure stability, integration, and integrity of production systems.
  • Complete all QA Non-Conformance and Corrective Actions in a timely manner.
  • Participate in assessment of application security and identity management requirements, where applicable.
  • Create artifacts as appropriate, including business case documentation, scope documentation, detailed functional requirements, operational requirements, process flows, and manual and automated test cases.
  • Understand technical options, limitations, costs, and risks.
  • Help resolve competing priorities between stakeholder groups by facilitating stakeholder discussions and escalating issues where appropriate.
Additional Duties & Responsibilities
  • Ensure compliance with local labor laws, tax regulations, and internal policies, especially for US, Canada, and Mexico.
  • Provide technical training assistance for users, application programming team, and other staff.
  • Create functional design documents and other relevant documents, maintaining adherence to the software development lifecycle.
  • Analyze requirements, design and develop solutions, coordinate and perform various types of testing, create/maintain test automation suites, and implement technologies, enhancements, and incident/problem resolutions.
  • Benchmark current and future processes against industry best practices.
  • Analyze business process potentials for streamlining and improvements in efficiencies.
  • Contribute to the development of roadmaps and initiatives for enablement of new capabilities.
  • Lead process improvements and IT projects to achieve business goals and objectives.
  • Manage projects with cross-functional teams and of global scope.
  • Viewed as a subject matter expert in the field within the organization.
