Summary

Workforce Planning New Hire Coordinator

The Workforce Planning New Hire Coordinator is responsible for guiding new hires through posthire readiness, onboarding, training, and scheduling workflows to ensure timely placement into their first shift. This role serves as the primary point of contact for new hires from system integration through completion of all onboarding milestones and partners closely with workforce operations, regional operations managers, field execution teams, and training to support a smooth transition into the field.

Responsibilities

The Company is one of North America's leading sales and marketing agencies specializing in outsourced sales, merchandising, category management, and marketing services to manufacturers, suppliers, and producers of food products and consumer packaged goods. The Company services a variety of trade channels including grocery, mass merchandise, specialty, convenience, drug, dollar, club, hardware, consumer electronics, and home centers. We bridge the gap between manufacturers and retailers, providing consumers access to the best products available in the marketplace today.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for new hires following system integration by communicating next steps, orientation activities, and training requirements while confirming availability and mileage alignment

  • Ensure completion of all required onboarding and compliance training including orientation, safety, and companyrequired programs by coordinating virtual and inperson training events and tracking progress

  • Schedule new hires for training events, shadow shifts, and first shift assignments while partnering with regional operations managers to ensure successful field handoff

  • Submit required system updates following onboarding and training completion while maintaining and auditing new hire tracking tools and dashboards

  • Provide consistent communication throughout the onboarding process by supporting new hires, directing them to resources, and coordinating with operations, scheduling, and centers of excellence for escalations and support

Qualifications

  • Education Requirements: High school education

  • Experience Requirements: 0-2 years experience in relevant field

  • Travel requirement: No travel requirements

Supervisor Responsibility

Direct Reports: This position does not have supervisory responsibilities for direct reports

Indirect Reports: Does not have direct reports, but may delegate work of others and provide guidance, direction and mentoring to indirect reports

Required Knowledge and Skills

  • Ability to consistently follow onboarding and scheduling standard operating procedures while maintaining accuracy across dashboards and milestones

  • Ability to manage and prioritize a high volume of concurrent tasks in a fastpaced environment

  • Ability to work independently while exercising sound judgment and escalating issues appropriately

  • Strong customer service mindset with clear and professional communication skills across phone, email, and collaboration tools

Environmental & Physical Requirements

Office / Sedentary Requirements: Incumbent must be able to perform the essential functions of the job. Work is performed primarily in an office environment. Typically, requires the ability to sit for extended periods of time (66%+ each day), ability to hear telephone, ability to enter data on a computer and may require the ability to lift up to 10lbs.
