Position Summary

The Senior Manager of Capacity Planning and Supply is responsible for developing and executing global capacity planning strategies to ensure optimal utilization of resources, alignment with demand forecasts, and scalability across regions. This role oversees long-term and short-term capacity planning, collaborates with cross-functional teams, and drives operational efficiency to support business growth.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead capacity planning across multiple regions, sites, and business units
  • Develop and implement capacity models aligned with demand forecasts and strategic goals
  • Partner with Supply Chain, Operations, Finance, and Sales teams to balance supply and demand
  • Analyze production, workforce, and infrastructure constraints; recommend solutions
  • Drive scenario planning and risk mitigation strategies for capacity shortages or surpluses
  • Contribute to capital planning related to expansion, equipment, and facility investments
  • Establish KPIs and dashboards to monitor capacity utilization and performance
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives to optimize throughput and efficiency
  • Support new product introductions and global expansion initiatives

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or related field (MBA preferred)
  • 10+ years of experience in capacity planning, operations, or supply chain management
  • Experience in global or multi-site operations
  • Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills
  • Proven leadership and team management experience
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • CPIM, CSCP or equivalent qualification (preferred)
