This is a temporary salaried opportunity to join Deloitte Services LP for a short-term assignment. We are currently seeking a candidate to fill our Specialist Lead, Analytics & Insights role between August 2026 - May 2027 for our People Analytics team.

Work you'll do

  • Support talent leadership with strategic reporting, dashboarding, and insights to drive data driven decision making
  • Create data visualizations that tell a story as well as operational dashboards (i.e., in support of executive presentations, summary of analytics projects, or as standalone dashboards) using various tools (e.g., PPT, Tableau)
  • Support intricate, strategic analyses and data requests from senior leaders
  • Collaborate with multiple stakeholders across the talent lifecycle to design, build, and test holistic data and visualization solutions
  • Develop broad expertise in Talent data and reporting to understand the full landscape
  • Advise Talent leaders on key opportunities discovered by data and bring data into the discussion

The People Analytics Team collaborates across People and the business to uncover data-driven insights to solve business challenges across the talent lifecycle and enable transformational change inside of Deloitte. Our teams (e.g., data science, surveys, Scandidate assessments, evaluation) provide a holistic and client-centric approach that complements our wide range of analytical tools and methods to identify valuable workforce insights which, in turn, fuels the business.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 5+ years of experience in reporting, analytics, visualization
  • Experience using data transformation or data modeling tools such as Tableau Prep or SQL
  • Visualization skills and storyboarding skills
  • Strong command of Microsoft Office skills and ability to produce high-quality deliverables:
    • In Excel, aggregate and analyze operational data to identify insights and trends
    • In PowerPoint, tell a logically structured, succinct, and compelling story tailored to your audience; identify clear and actionable asks
    • In Word, create clear, concise, professional communications and resources
    • In Teams, effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders to maximize efficiency and version control
  • Ability to travel 0-10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.

Preferred:

  • Experience working with HR or talent data
  • Experience publishing and delivering content on Tableau Desktop or Server
  • Experience using Databricks (e.g., Databricks SQL and notebooks) to build/maintain data pipelines and curated datasets for analytics and reporting
