Job description

Role Summary

Reporting to the Manager of Service Insights and Modeling (SIM), the Workforce Analyst implements daily forecasting and long-term planning activities. They will be responsible for utilizing their judgment, analytical capabilities and communication skills with business leaders to determine the staffing needs of business units to achieve their goals.

Responsibilities

  • Uses workforce management software and analytic tools to provide quality forecasts based upon business unit objectives. Provides recommendations for times and attendance for training and other offline activities. Conducts meetings with the business leaders to review staff plan and volumes forecasts.
  • Analyzes staff utilization to increase efficiencies within business units. Assesses areas of improvement, provides recommendations, and partners with the businesses to execute the plans.
  • Uses historical data and current trends to identify the need for schedule realignments. Provides recommendations for time off allowances. Communicates with business partners to gain agreement and fully understand expectations and client goals.
  • Identifies areas of opportunity to improve efficiencies within the schedule management processes and data delivery. Identifies short- and long-term strategies to achieve departmental goals.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and relevant experience AND -2+ years of total relevant work experience
  • Proficiency with data, particularly querying data with SQL and managing data in spreadsheets and databases

Preferred:

  • Strong analytical foundation, sound judgment, and ability to solve problems independently
  • Experience leveraging multiple data sources to generate data supported recommendations
  • Proven ability to communicate data to high level stakeholders
  • Knowledge of statistical concepts to provide new insights to internal and external stakeholders
  • Experience with visualization software like Tableau, orPowerBI to communicate business performance and status
  • Demonstrated ability to leverage technology to implement efficient, robust, and cross-functional solutions
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize multiple tasks
  • Excellent customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills
  • Proactive in seeking out process improvement to reduce expense or improve efficiency

FINRA licenses are not required and will not be supported for this role.

Work Flexibility

This role is eligible for hybrid work, with up to two days per week from home.
