WORKERS COMPENSATION:
Position overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Workers’ Compensation Attorney to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will represent injured workers in workers' compensation cases, ensuring they receive the appropriate benefits according to state and federal laws. This position requires analytical skills, excellent communication, and the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
Responsibilities:
Advise and represent clients in workers’ compensation claims.
Prepare and submit legal documents, including appeals and settlements.
Represent clients in administrative hearings and court proceedings.
Negotiate settlements with employers, insurers, and other involved parties.
Conduct investigations and gather evidence to support clients' cases.
Maintain consistent communication with clients, ensuring they understand the legal process.
Adhere to deadlines and regulations established in workers' compensation legislation.
Education and Licensing:
Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited university.
Active and valid attorney license in Colorado.
Minimum of [3] years’ experience in Workers’ Compensation or other labor law areas.
In-depth knowledge of state and federal workers’ compensation laws.
Exceptional negotiation and communication skills.
Ability to manage a demanding workload and handle multiple cases concurrently.
Proficiency in computer tools and legal software.
Bilingual (Spanish and English) is a plus.
