Job description

Rainbow Apparel is looking for a HR Workday Analyst to support and optimize our Workday HCM platform for a fast growing, multi‐location retail organization. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on configuration, problem solving, and partnering closely with HR, Payroll, Benefits, and Talent teams to improve system functionality and data accuracy.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Configure and support Workday HCM and related modules (Recruiting, Absence, Time Tracking, Benefits, Payroll preferred)
  • Maintain business processes (BPF), security roles, and workflows
  • Build and maintain custom reports and dashboards for HR leadership
  • Perform data audits, EIB uploads, and release testing
  • Serve as the primary Workday support partner for corporate and field HR teams

 

Qualifications:

  • 3–5+ years of experience in Workday / HRIS / HR Operations
  • Candidate will need to be on-site in Brooklyn, 5 days a week
  • Hands-on Workday experience and strong HR function experience (not just user/support level)
  • Strong Excel skills and attention to detail
  • Experience supporting large, hourly or multi‐site workforces (retail a plus)
  • Experience with multi-state compliance, including PTO accruals and leave policies
  • Clear communicator who can translate business needs into system solutions
