Work from home case managers work with clients or patients of a social service agency, health care organization, or community services provider. This is a telecommuting position, which means you do the majority of your job duties from home or another remote location outside of the office. As a work from home case manager, you discuss your client’s needs, collect and review information, and help them determine how much assistance they need. Your responsibilities may include recommending treatment by a specialist, finding assistance programs they are eligible for, or finding public resources that can aid the client. You may also coordinate with different service providers and social workers to ensure that they address the client’s needs and assess the status of each case as treatment and assistance progress.
