Niacc is currently recruiting for the position of Wire Harness Technician for its Clovis Business Unit.

The Wire Harness Technician must be able to read and interpret aircraft maintenance manuals and specifications. Wire Harness Technician should be able to provide clear and concise written documentation and will be able to follow written and verbal instructions.

Wire Harness Technician will properly and safely use the tools and equipment within the shop as needed. Technician will utilize safety equipment as required for each task and keep a clean and safe work area on a daily basis.

Responsibilities:

  • Ability to perform operations in the build of wire harnesses assemblies using standard hand tools and techniques.
  • Ability to fabricate wires on a Harness Board in accordance with specifications. Continuous laces, flat laces and spot ties wire into bundles and routings according to drawing requirements.
  • Prepares wires by carrying out the following tasks: routes, dresses and terminates conductors to specific dimensions as specified by instructions.
  • Assembles electronic components, assemblies, subassemblies and modules by working from samples, visual aids, prints, wiring lists and diagrams, routing instructions and process sheets using appropriate tooling and machinery.
  • Complete other duties and responsibilities as required
  • Perform preliminary inspection of wiring harnesses.
  • Teardown, clean, and perform in-depth inspection of wiring harness.
