Job description

Are you looking for a hands-on warehouse opportunity where you can build your skills and take on more responsibility? We are hiring a Wire Cutter for a busy warehouse operation in Auburn, WA. This is a great opportunity for someone who is dependable, safety-focused, and comfortable working with equipment in a fast-paced warehouse environment. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity, with the potential for permanent employment based on performance and business needs.

As a Wire Cutter, you will operate a hydraulic wire-cutting machine, accurately fill wire and pipe orders, safely operate warehouse equipment, and help keep the warehouse organized. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work and wants the opportunity to learn additional warehouse responsibilities.

Wire Cutter Duties:
  • Operate a hydraulic wire-cutting machine to accurately cut wire according to customer orders.
  • Fill wire and pipe orders while maintaining accuracy and productivity.
  • Safely operate reach trucks, sit-down forklifts, stand-up forklifts, and other warehouse equipment.
  • Assist with loading and unloading freight and delivery trucks.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse while following inventory organization practices.
Schedule:
  • Monday-Friday, 5:00am- 1:30pm
  • Typical schedule is 40 hours per week. Evening and weekend hours may occasionally be required based on business needs.
Pay:
  • $20.00 per hour
Wire Cutter Requirements:
  • Warehouse experience with the ability to safely operate warehouse equipment.
  • Ability to operate forklifts, including reach trucks, sit-down forklifts, and stand-up forklifts. 1+ Year experiance 
  • Ability to learn and safely operate a hydraulic wire-cutting machine.
  • Ability to repeatedly lift and pull objects weighing 50+ pounds.
  • Reliable attendance, strong safety awareness, and a team-oriented mindset.
