Job Description

Provide technical support to multiple areas in the enterprise infrastructure environment at Social Security Administration, related to Microsoft's Systems Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) and to ensure that patches are efficient for SCCM client health. 

Analyze the feasibility and completeness of the As-Is model, the To-Be model and the implementation strategy proposed by the senior subject matter expert.

Design a virtual lab environment for ConfigMgr 2012 to support SCCM 2007. The lab environment shall provide the following functionality.

Provide mentoring, guidance and function as an On-site task manager overseeing operations related to Configuration Manager 2007 and 2012.  

Provide Operational support for the SCCM 2007 R3 and R2012 clients.

Provide procedural documentation for monitoring and troubleshooting client operations for laptops, servers and workstations.

Works independently or as the leader of a team as required. Possess exceptional verbal and written communication skills to clearly and effectively convey complex technical and business issues to management. Provides expert, independent support and leadership by coordinating, producing, or reviewing processes and documentation on complex issues, such as systems design, architecture, feasibility studies, system specifications reflecting detailed knowledge of technical areas as identified in task order requirements. Demonstrates knowledge of technology practices applicable to large scale, enterprise wide projects. 

Qualifications

Experience with Object-oriented and web programming experience in SQL; Java; JavaScript; VBScript; VB.NET; ASP; ASP.NET; C languages; HTML; XML; Install Shield; WiseScript; and/or other object-oriented programming languages.

Experience in SQL Server 2012, Server 2012, Server 2008, Vista, XP and Windows 7.

Experience using Systems Management Software (SMS) and System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) including experience with SCCM 2007 and CM 2012.

Experience building, configuring, managing, and troubleshooting software distribution infrastructure

Knowledge of TCP/IP, Cisco, Networking, Server Administration, Microcomputer Maintenance and Troubleshooting, CompTIA A+, Technical writing, Active Directory, Virtual technology (application development, software migration and infrastructure), Software distribution

Minimum ten years of experience is required.
