Job Summary:
RIT Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Systems & Network Administrator to manage cloud services and troubleshoot networking issues. The role includes monitoring system alerts, handling escalated IT support tickets, and supporting ongoing cloud and network infrastructure projects.
Responsibilities:
• Monitor system alerts and resolve network/security issues
• Handle escalated IT support tickets (Tier 2 & Tier 3)
• Manage user accounts, device policies, and access in Microsoft 365 & Azure
• Build and run automation scripts to streamline IT processes
• Support ongoing cloud and network infrastructure projects
• Conduct network audits and security assessments
• Test and maintain backup and disaster recovery systems
• Document incidents, procedures, and system configurations
• Mentor and oversee junior IT support staff
• Occasional evening/weekend work during outages or deployments
Qualifications:
Required:
• Microsoft Azure/M365 - managing cloud services
• Networking - troubleshooting routers, firewalls, VLANS, VPNs and protocols
• PowerShell - writing scripts to automate IT processes
• Must have a BS in Computer Science, Information Tech, or related field
Preferred:
• valid and current certs
• Microsoft Azure Administrator Associate or Azure Solutions Architect Expert
